Stain Glass Window Design

In this project I have researched into the Orthodox Churches that have incorporated iconography design into the craft of stain glass windows. 

​

Unlike the Protestant and Catholic Churches, the Orthodox Churches don't really hone in on stain glass iconography. Perhaps the reason is because that this craft is often regarded as a Catholic tradition and the traditions of a normal Orthodox Church is byzantine frescoes

From the very limited research that I can make into stain glass window design in Orthodox Churches, I managed to source these images on the left. Most of these images are from a Greek Orthodox Church in Asheville, NC.

Therefore, from using these sources I managed to make one myself of Saint Seraphim of Sarov which is mocked up and attached at the very bottom of this page.
